APSC Admit Card 2023 for CCE Prelims Exam. Assam PSC Combined Competitive Exam for Administrative and Civil Services (2022) Preliminary Examination Schedule. 

Assam Public Service Commission has announced the Preliminary Examination Date for CCE 2022. The CCP will be conducted on 26 March 2023 at 31 district headquarters of Assam state. The exam will be commenced in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Exam Update: APSC will the Application Accept List for the CCE prelims. The candidates whose applications have been accepted can find their names in the list and need to appear in the preliminary test. Concerned candidates can download the list and check if their application is accepted or not.
Concerned candidates are advised to read the official notification regarding the APSC CCE Examination schedule. No further communication regarding exam announcements will be made through email or SMS.

The candidates can download the CCE Admit Card for the preliminary examination from the official website. A direct link to download the exam admit card will be added below upon availability. Candidates need to carry the admit card while appearing for the examination at the allotted exam centre.

The Public Service Commission will allow the candidates to download and take a printout of the admit card. The candidates will need to open the link and download the admit card using their login credentials. It is mandatory for all the concerned applicants to take an online print of the admit card as the commission will not send the same by post.

It is also advisable to have multiple copies of the admit card as it is needed till the last phase of the recruitment. Candidates can have a printout of the APSC CCE Admit Card on a4-sized paper in colour.

Admit Card will carry important information regarding the preliminary exam like

  • Candidate’s Details
  • Exam Centre Details
  • Examination Timing and Reporting Time
  • General Instruction for the candidates

A candidate taking part in the CCE-P needs to bring a photo ID card along with him/her. The examiner may ask you to show you the admit card and id card anytime for verification purposes. The candidates without ID and Admit Card will be barred from the exam straight away.

To download the CCE Admit Card, the commission will release the link on the official website. Candidates can follow the guide written here to get access to admit card.

  1. Visit the official link provided here.
  2. Then, on the homepage, click CCE Admit Card.
  3. Enter your Application ID and Password.
  4. Click Submit to download the admit card.

Assam PSC CCE Preliminary Exam Details

The selection for Administrative and Civil Services in the Assam state will be decided based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Personal Interview and Document Verification.

In the first phase, the applicants will take part in the preliminary examination which is a qualifying exam in nature. The candidates scoring qualifying marks in Prelims will get a chance to take part in the main examination. The paper pattern and examination scheme for the Preliminary Exam is discussed below.

  • The examination will be conducted offline based on OMR sheets.
  • The examination will have Objective Type MCQ questions.
  • The exam will have two papers on General Studies. Candidates need to appear in both.
  • Paper 2 will be a qualifying paper. Candidates scoring passing marks only will get paper 1 checked.
  • Paper 1 shall carry 100 Questions while paper 2 will have 80 questions.
  • Each paper will have a maximum of 200 marks.
  • There shall be a penalty of 1/4 mark for each incorrect answer.
