The department of post, India has been advertising the Graming Dak Sevak, Branch Post Master, ABPM, etc posts across the country in recent few years. The Cycle I and Cycle II recruitment for AP state has already been conducted and their result has been announced timely.
In January 2021, a new Cycle III recruitment for Gramin Dak Sevak posts in Andhra Pradesh was released under the Advt Number RE/APCO/3-11/2020. A total of 2,296 posts have been notified by the AP Postal Circle this year. The educational qualification has been the same Class 10th (SSC) only.
As the registration period is over in February 2021, now is the time for the application form evaluation. The department will go through the received application forms and reject the incomplete or ineligible ones. Then, the final selection list will be prepared category-wise.

The GDS Result for Andhra Pradesh state will be announced on the official AP Post website. Last year for Cycle II Recruitment, a total of 2,659 candidates were selected from Andhra Pradesh. This year, the number of vacancies has been decreased slightly. AP GDS Cut Off Marks isn’t released officially but from the last 2 recruitment drives, it can be safely expected that the selection is possible only for the candidates with 90% Marks except for the PWD category.
AP GDS Recruitment Merit List – Selection Process
The selection of the aspirants will be made completely through the automatically generated Merit List based on the overall category-wise registrations. If two or more applicants have the same marks in the SSC 10th exams, then the person with higher age will be selected.
The department never conducts the written exam or viva-voce for the final selection of candidates for GDS Jobs. The India Post AP GDS Final List will be made purely on the basis of the applicant’s academic records i.e Class 10th performance.
The exact date for AP Postal GDS Final Merit List isn’t released by the department. However, we are expecting the AP Postal Results to be out in May month.

Not at all. Higher qualification doesn’t provide any meritorious benefit in the AP Postal Circle result. In case of candidates having the same marks in SSC, the person with higher age and the ones who passed Class 10th in the first attempt will be selected for the job.
