The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS) conducted a Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-IV). The exam took place on 3 June 2023 at various examination centres allotted by the officials. Through this exam, various Nursing Officer (Staff Nurse – Grade II), and Group B posts in AIIMS hospitals across the country will be filled.

Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list. This list will be prepared on the basis of the written exam that has been recently conducted. The qualified candidates will be invited for the allocation of seats in various institutes affiliated with AIIMS. If a candidate after being selected fails to join, then the NORCET merit list will be failed after 6 months from the date of declaration.
Exam Overview
The question paper contained Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam contained 200 questions for 200 marks. The question paper was divided into 2 parts i.e. part 1 & part 2. The first part carried 20 no. of questions of General Knowledge and in the second section, 180 subject-related questions will be given by the exam authority. The time duration was of 3 hours. There was a negative marking of 1/3 marks.
